The Itinerary
Get ready for an exhilarating journey through the wonders of Egypt, where adventure meets history! Here's a look at what you can expect on your exciting itinerary:
Day 1:
Today, we'll start our tour with a visit to The Egyptian Museum, where we'll explore the ancient Egyptians from the beginning to the end. The museum holds an extraordinary collection of King Tut-Ankh-Amun's treasures, including his gold and jewelry. We'll also visit Tahrir Square, where the 2011 revolution took place.
(Optional) In the afternoon, we'll take a relaxing private Felucca Ride on the Nile to enjoy Cairo from a different perspective.
Day 2:
we'll begin our adventure by driving to the Giza Plateau. Get ready to travel back 4,600 years in time as we explore the most famous historical site in Egypt – The Great Pyramid of Cheops. This iconic wonder is the oldest of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World that still stands today.
After admiring the Great Pyramid, we'll drive through the pyramids to a breathtaking spot known as The Panoramic View. Here, you can capture some of the best photos of the Nine Pyramids on Giza. We'll also visit the pyramids of the queens and the Valley Temple, where we'll get a closer look at the Great Sphinx, the largest and most famous statue in Egypt.
Next, we'll stop at the Papyrus Museum where we'll learn about the oldest and strongest paper in history. Here, our guide will reveal the process of making papyrus, explain the most important stories depicted on them, and you'll have a chance to buy souvenirs.
(Optional) If you're feeling adventurous, we can add a camel or ATV ride to our itinerary to explore the desert surroundings with the Pyramids.
To complete our day, we'll escape by a time machine more than 7000 years back to discover the ancient Egyptian civilization in the New Museum. You'll be amazed by the displayed artifacts and the house of the 22 royal mummies.
Day 3:
We'll start our day early in the morning and drive to El-Fayoum, where we'll nestle in nature. Our first stop will be Wadi El-Hitan, or the Valley of the Whales, a UNESCO World Heritage site. The valley was once a sea with a wide variety of marine life, but now it's filled with fossils and skeletons of extinct whales.
Next, we'll move to Wadi El-Rayan Waterfalls, but on our way, we'll stop for photos of the beautiful Mudawara Mountain and The Magic Lake. Reaching Wadi El-Rayan Waterfalls, located in the heart of the desert, we'll have a chance to swim, relax and enjoy the stunning surroundings.
(Optional) After our adventures, we'll have a Bedouins lunch in a local camp.
Finally, we'll drive back to Cairo, pick you up at the airport and bid farewell until next time.
