Explore the Origins of Pyramid Building – Saqqara Tour

Travel back to the dawn of ancient Egyptian architecture at Saqqara, home to the Step Pyramid of King Djoser — the oldest stone structure of its kind in the world. Designed by the genius architect Imhotep during Egypt’s 3rd Dynasty, this iconic monument marks the very beginning of pyramid construction in Egypt.

Continue to the Pyramid of King Teti, where you’ll have the rare opportunity to step inside and explore the inner burial chamber. Admire the beautifully preserved Pyramid Texts, the oldest known religious inscriptions carved in mesmerizing hieroglyphics.

Next, we’ll visit the Tombs of the Nobles, where colorful scenes on the walls offer vivid glimpses into daily life more than 4,000 years ago — from farming and fishing to feasting and rituals.

Optional: we can also make a stop at one of Saqqara’s famous handmade carpet schools, where local artisans keep this centuries-old craft alive.

Step Back 4,600 Years at the Giza Plateau

Begin your journey at the legendary Giza Plateau — home to some of the most iconic monuments on Earth. Our first stop is the Great Pyramid of Khufu (Cheops), the last surviving wonder of the Ancient World. Towering above the desert, this timeless structure invites you to climb a few of its colossal stones and capture unforgettable photos.

Next, drive through the pyramid fields to the stunning Panoramic Viewpoint — the perfect spot for wide-angle shots of all three pyramids rising against the sky. We’ll then continue to the smaller Queens’ Pyramids and visit the mysterious Valley Temple, where you’ll come face-to-face with the majestic Great Sphinx — the largest and most famous in Egypt.

To wrap up this immersive morning, we’ll visit the Papyrus Museum. Discover the ancient art of papyrus-making, learn how this durable material preserved the secrets of pharaohs, and enjoy a chance to explore or purchase authentic hand-painted pieces.
